If your kids move quickly from climbing and sliding to asking what they can do next, the Congo Monkey Playset Sandbox Upgrade adds a calmer, hands-on activity beneath a compatible playset.
Sand play gives kids a place to dig, build, scoop, and create while staying connected to the rest of the backyard playground.
Sand is not included.
This is an add-on for compatible Congo Monkey playsets and is not a freestanding sandbox. Confirm that your playset has the correct under-deck location and dimensions before ordering.
If you are unsure whether this kit fits your Congo model, contact Extreme Kids World with the name of your playset and, if available, a photo of the area where you plan to install it.
Climbing, swinging, and sliding provide big-body movement. A sandbox adds tactile and repetitive play that can help some kids slow down, focus on a project, and use their imagination before heading back to more active play.
The frame boards use WoodGuard polymer-coated wood. The smooth protective exterior helps reduce splinters and routine sanding or staining while helping protect the wood beneath from moisture, UV exposure, rot, and insect damage.
Choose the board finish and cover color that coordinate with your existing playset. The included vinyl cover helps keep leaves and everyday debris out of the sandbox when it is not in use. Remove standing water and allow the cover to dry as needed.
Installation hardware is included. Review your playset location and the kit components before beginning, and have more than one adult available if needed. Fill the completed area with clean play sand intended for children’s sandboxes.
Choose your board and cover colors, confirm compatibility, and add a hands-on sand activity to your backyard setup. Explore more Congo playset upgrades and add-ons or compare complete Congo playsets.
