This product must be securely fixed to a strong, solid wall using fasteners appropriate for the wall construction. The instruction manual states that installation should be completed by an experienced, competent installer. Drywall anchors are included; installation on other wall types may require different hardware. The manual recommends positioning the fiber optics at least 6 inches above the floor, or ideally 18 inches above the floor when ceiling height allows.
