Powder-coated steel construction with teal uprights and light-colored crossbars. Use only compatible Base Camp components and the connection arrangements shown in their manuals. These components do not fit the older red, yellow and blue ActivPlay equipment made before March 2024.
These are equipment measurements, not the full required play area. Allow at least 6 feet from structures and obstructions, and follow the manuals’ additional surfacing and clearance requirements for swings and the chosen layout.
The currently linked manufacturer manuals specify ages 4–10, with on-site adult supervision. The manufacturer’s product pages advertise ages 4–12. Follow the supplied manual’s narrower age range until the manufacturer confirms an updated rating.
Apply every component’s occupancy and load limits to the installed arrangement. Do not treat separate component limits as a single summed allowance for the whole playset.
Adult assembly is required. Confirm all parts before starting, install on a level site, and follow the anchoring and connection instructions. Provide suitable impact-absorbing playground surfacing. The manuals prohibit installation over concrete, asphalt, packed earth, grass, carpet or other hard surfaces, even where promotional photos show grass.
Inspect hardware, protective covers, moving parts and surfacing at the intervals specified in the manuals. Replace worn parts and maintain protective-surfacing depth. Follow seasonal storage instructions for removable plastic components; rust resistance does not make the playset maintenance-free.
