The manufacturer describes five frame positions; adults should change the arrangement only when the equipment is empty and then secure it according to the instructions.

This is the AAEN001 base playset. The rock-climbing ramp, rope accessories, wooden swing and gymnastics mat are sold separately.

Age Range, Load and Size

Manufacturer-listed age range: 18 months–6 years, with direct adult supervision.

• Maximum working load: 60 kg (about 132 lb). The 100 kg test load is not the permitted user load.
• Solid beech wood and birch plywood with a water-based finish.
• Published frame-with-ladder dimensions: 107 cm high × 139 cm wide (approximately 42.1 × 54.7 inches). The full footprint and clearance depend on the arrangement.

Follow the Frame’s Use Instructions

The Scandinavian Trapeze manual limits use to one rope accessory at a time and prohibits climbing onto the upper side of the structure. Follow these rules even where photos show several accessories or children on top. The manual also requires floor anchoring using the included anchors and at least 2 metres of clearance from windows, sharp corners, hard furniture and other hazards. Confirm suitable anchoring for your floor before assembly.

Indoor Setup and Care

Adult assembly and direct adult supervision are required. Check fasteners and wooden parts before play, and stop use if anything is loose or damaged. Follow the supplied model instructions for placement, clearances and any anchoring. Keep the play area clear of windows, heat sources, sharp furniture and other hazards.

Use indoors on a suitable level surface. Wipe wood with a soft damp cloth or mild soap solution, then dry it. Avoid soaking, abrasive pads and aggressive cleaners. Inspect rope and textile accessories for wear and follow their care labels. The manufacturer recommends checking and tightening bolts every two months.

WoodandHearts publishes a two-year manufacturing warranty for wooden products and a 30-day warranty for textiles, subject to its terms. Its separate 10-year coverage applies to eligible beech pegs or rungs, not the whole playset. Outdoor exposure, misuse and unauthorized changes are excluded from relevant coverage; contact us to confirm the terms for your EKW order.
